The Denver Foundation operates as a learning community and measures progress on each of the goals identified in its strategic plan [PDF]. Annually, the President provides a report to the Board of Trustees on overall progress.

In addition to regular reporting to the Nominating and Governance and Community Impact Committees of the Board, the Foundation conducts in-depth evaluations of many of our activities.

The Programs Department has a multi-tiered evaluation strategy in place to measure progress in the Community Grants Program, the Strengthening Neighborhoods Program, and the Technical Assistance Program. The evaluation is developed and conducted in partnership with the Touchstone Center for Collaborative Inquiry.  The Inclusiveness Project and the Nonprofit Internship Program, have ongoing evaluation mechanisms in place, in partnership with OMNI Research and other evaluators.
