Community: Impact Areas

The Denver Foundation’s mission is to inspire people and mobilize resources to strengthen our community.

To accomplish our mission, the Foundation works in partnership with our donors, and with leaders in the nonprofit, business, and government sectors to address key community issues.

Aligned with our strategic plan, our four Community Impact Objective Areas are Basic Human Needs, Economic Opportunity, Education, and Leadership & Equity. Learn more about Community Grants.

Outside of our strategic goals, the Foundation is active on many important issues in Metro Denver. Some of these issues are addressed through special efforts (Critical Needs Fund), some through collaborations with other funders (Building Public Will to Address Homelessness), and others through partnerships with our donors. Follow the links in this section of the website to learn more.
