Throughout the year, The Denver Foundation hosts Community Information and Pre-application Information Sessions to introduce our guidelines and grantmaking practices to nonprofits and resident groups in Metro Denver.

The Pre-Application Information Session for our August 1, 2019 deadline will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 from 9-10:30 am at The Denver Foundation. The material covered in the Pre-Application Information Session can be found in our 2019 Community Grants Guidelines here. This will give you an idea of our funding priorities and introduce you to our objective areas. For more information you can also visit the "Apply for a Grant" section of our website here for FAQs and additional guidance.

Once you have reviewed our grant guidelines and know which objective area you would like to apply, we strongly encourage you to schedule a 20-30 minute phone call with a Program Director to ensure your proposal aligns with our funding priorities and objective pathways. Beginning in 2018, if you are applying for our Community Grants Program, you are requested to use the Foundation's online grant application portal.
