Social Venture Partners (SVP) improves the fabric of our community through strategic philanthropy. We leverage Partners’ relationships, expertise, and financial resources to build more effective nonprofits.
- We facilitate capacity-building and in-depth, hands-on engagement with like-minded professionals and nonprofit leaders.
- We offer pro bono consulting to nonprofit organizations addressing issues including board development, strategic planning, information systems, marketing and finance.
- We educate emerging leaders about community engagement.
- We teach effective grant making and fund development.
Since 2000, SVP Denver has worked with over 45 local nonprofits, provided grants worth $650,000, contributed $1,800,000 in volunteer hours, and empowered over 250 businesses and individuals to apply skills learned in SVP by joining boards, creating donor-advised funds, contributing to public policy change and more.
