Grants/Scholarships

Critical Needs Fund - Hunger Relief Effort

Thank you for your interest in the Critical Needs Fund – Hunger Relief Effort.

To date, the Critical Needs Fund – Hunger Relief Effort has distributed over $1.1 million dollars in small grants to frontline organizations serving the hungry.  Hundreds of food pantries across the Denver Metro area have provided relief to the most vulnerable members of our community with the support of these grants, which were made possible by generous donations from individuals, corporations, and other foundations.  For a map of our most recent grantees, click here.

The grant application is currently closed.  We do not anticipate offering additional grants for food pantry purchase again in the near future.

If you have questions about the Critical Needs Fund – Hunger Relief Effort, please contact Monica Buhlig at mbuhlig@denverfoundation.org or 303-300-1790 ext. 130.
