Update on Concern for Others Fund

The second and final suspect has been arrested in the case described in our announcement on August 31, 2009.  Tena Saltzman, the sister of the first suspect, has been arrested and charged as of today.  While she hasn’t formally entered a plea yet, Ms. Saltzman has already begun to make financial restitution to the Concern for Others Fund.  We are pleased that the District Attorney’s office has worked to investigate this case so carefully and is seeking to hold those responsible for this wrongdoing accountable.

An update on the first suspect:  Ruth Gonzales pled guilty to the charges against her.  She has served 90 days in jail and is also making restitution to Concern for Others.
