On November 17, the Denver Foundation honored three key legal and financial advisors: Phil Keenan, Bob Phelps, and Judy Shine. The three received this year’s Philanthropic Leadership Award for their outstanding work in helping to further The Denver Foundation’s mission. The event, which was sponsored by Steele Street Bank and Trust, had more than 145 area professional advisors in attendance, including former honorees Don Burkhardt, Sherry Kenney, Mary Moser, Bill Schmidt, and David Thomas.
“Professional advisors are key partners with The Denver Foundation,” states Leslie Karotkin, the Foundation’s Manager of Advisor Programs and Senior Philanthropic Planner. “We are so fortunate to work with so many advisors who are making an impact in this community because they recognize and value the significance of philanthropy.”
