−  For 85 years, The Denver Foundation has been a trusted community resource − successfully guiding individuals, families, and businesses in their philanthropy.  A great deal of that success is made possible through partnerships with legal and financial professionals. “We are always happy to partner with advisors to offer our philanthropic expertise to help their clients make charitable decisions,” states Leslie Karotkin, the Foundation’s Senior Philanthropic Planner & Director of Professional Advisor Programs.

Once a year, The Denver Foundation honors financial advisors for their outstanding work in furthering philanthropy. The Philanthropic Leadership Award goes to advisors who have helped their clients make significant gifts to the Metro Denver community and beyond.  This year’s event was held on November 18th at the JW Marriot Hotel.  The 2010 recipients are:
