The Inclusiveness Project of the Denver Foundation, with the support of partners Chinook Fund, Center for Multicultural Excellence of DU, Veterans of Hope, and the Matrix, brought Dr. Rose Brewer to Denver to lead a community dialogue, sharing the central findings of the book The Color of Wealth, which she co-authored, and which received the 2006 Gustavus-Meyer outstanding book award. The Color of Wealth addresses governmental policies which have directly led to great disparities in wealth between white Americans and Native-, African-, Hispanic-, and Asian-Americans.
