Are you a college student interested in making a difference while exploring career opportunities and getting paid?  Apply to The Denver Foundation's Nonprofit Internship Program!

In summer, 2010, ten undergraduate students will have paid internships with ten nonprofit organizations in the Metro Denver area.

The goals of the program are to:
*  Provide students with meaningful exposure to opportunities within the nonprofit sector
*  Encourage motivated, highly-qualified students from communities traditionally underrepresented in the
nonprofit sector to pursue deeper involvement in the sector
*  Develop the leadership capacity of undergraduate students
*  Build capacity within nonprofit organizations by providing additional staff support

The deadline to apply to the Nonprofit Internship Program is January 22, 2010 at 5:00 p.m.

"I didn't once feel like an "intern"; from the very first day I felt like a necessary and valued employee.  I became so involved, in fact, that I am continuing my work at the Association as a part-time volunteer during the school year."
