The founding members of the Eagle Fund consist of eleven individuals who have been friends since elementary school. This tight-knit group’s friendships date back as far as kindergarten, continued throughout high school and college, and remain strong today even as the members have gone on to various careers and graduate studies.
Brian Abrams
Mr. Abrams is founder and CEO of G2 Analytics, a market research firm with operations in the United States and India. He received his bachelor’s degree from Harvard University.
Michael Barkin
Mr. Barkin is currently attending the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Mr. Barkin previously worked in Boston as an associate at Bain Capital, a private equity fund, and at Bain & Company, a strategy consulting firm. He graduated from Williams College in 2000.
Jeremy Barron
Mr. Barron is an analyst with Green Manning & Bunch, an investment bank headquartered in Denver Colorado. Mr. Barron has completed a fellowship in non-profit management from El Pomar Foundation, Colorado Springs Colorado, and holds Bachelors of Arts degrees in Biology and Anthropology from Colby College.
Jon-Erik Borgen Mr. Borgen graduated in 1999 from Middlebury College. After working two years as a Program Associate for the El Pomar Foundation in Colorado Springs, Borgen completed a year as an equity portfolio analyst for Borgen Investment Group in Denver. Currently, Mr. Borgen is finishing his diploma degree at the Berklee School of Music in Boston where he studies contemporary guitar styles, song-writing, and music business management.
Brewster Boyd
Mr. Boyd is an environmental policy consultant for Ross & Associates in Seattle, Washington. Mr. Boyd previously spent three years with A.T. Kearney Management Consultancy in Boston and Sydney, Australia. Mr. Boyd graduated with a Bachelors degree in Economics and Environmental Policy from Middlebury College.
Daniel Richard Hamman M.D.
Dr. Hamman is currently an intern physician in a five-year Orthopedic Surgery residency at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California. He received his M.D. from the University of Colorado, after earning a Bachelors degree from Colgate University.
Josh Holman
Mr. Holman is a Client Services Manager for an online benefits firm called Businessolver in Des Moines, Iowa. Previously, he was based in Europe and Asia working as an IT consultant for Accenture Ltd. Mr. Holman holds a Bachelors degree in Chemistry from Dartmouth College.
Benjamin Ladd
Mr. Ladd is a fund manager for St. Albans Global Management, LLLP, a hedge fund based in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. Mr. Ladd previously spent four years at Green Manning & Bunch, an investment bank in Denver, Colorado, after graduating from Cornell University in 1999.
Brian Mankwitz
Mr. Mankwitz is a partner in Mankwitz Kurtz Investments, a private equity investment and leveraged buyout firm headquartered in Colorado. Mr. Mankwitz holds a Masters in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics and a Bachelors of Science from Vanderbilt University.
Ryan O’Shaughnessy
Mr. O'Shaughnessy is an investment banker with Petrie Parkman & Co., a Denver investment bank specializing in the energy business. Previously, Mr. O'Shaughnessy worked for Deutsche Bank Alex Brown for their Global Energy Investment Banking Group in Houston, Texas. Mr. O’Shaughnessy has a Bachelors degree from Princeton University.
Jonathan Right
Mr. Right is currently a candidate for a joint degree in law and business (JD/MBA) at the Darden School of Business and the Virginia School of Law at the University of Virginia, as well as a Producer of the independent film Southern Belles. Previously, he was an investment banker at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in New York after earning his Bachelor of Science of Engineering from Princeton University.
